    Sealers' Interpretation Centre Centre
    This is a replica of a building used for brick making and as a workshop. Visitors ride on a sealing schooner and are given the challenges of a Newfoundland sealer. Displays are also available.

    John William Roberts House

    This house was built in 1898 and was home to three generations of the Roberts' family, the first settlers in Woody Point. This registered heritage structure is currently a visitors centre.

    Port au Choix National Historic Site

    In the early 1900s remains left by three ancient aboriginal cultures were found here. There are exhibits on the burial rituals and lifestyles of the Dorset and Groswater Eskimo and the Maritime Archaic Indians. Excavation is still underway.

    Government House

    Government House, located on Military Road is the private home of Newfoundland's lieutenant-governor. The 20-acre site was chosen by Sir Thomas Cochrane, the governor in office from 1825 to 1834, and the exterior is composed of red sandstone, quarried from Signal Hill. Open year-round.

    The Methodist School
    The Methodist School built in 1830 now stores artifacts for the Trinity Historical Society. A must visit for the history buff or geneology seeker. Copies of church records dating to 1753, newspapers, photographs, diaries, and business journals.

    The Discovery Centre

    Located in Gros Morne National Park, this interpretive centre is a great spot to learn about the area's geology. Kids can participate in the interpretive programs offered daily at the centre. Open year-round, except for holidays.

    Railway Society of Newfoundland Historic Train Site
    The Railway Society of Newfoundland Historic Train Site is a showcase of the proud rail heritage of Newfoundland. The site has retained the Newfie Bullet—the former fastest train in Newfoundland—as well as vintage railway equipment and track. Other artefacts are also on display from June through August.

    Ryan Premises National Historic Site

    Pointe aux Canons Battery
    This former fort was built in the late 17th century to defend the area from British raids during that period. The battery that now stands there was built during the 1800s to protect the area during the Crimean War.

    Port au Choix Heritage Centre
    The artifacts on exhibit at this centre include tools, fishing equipment, furniture, photos and documents and focus on the history of Port au Choix and the Igornachoix region.
